VMware Security Advisory

VMware has released security advisory to address a Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) certificate validation vulnerability in vCenter Server. Exploitation of this vulnerability may allow remote attacker to intercept traffic and obtain sensitive information.

Updates available include:

(a) VMware vCenter Server version 6.0 update 1
(b) VMware vCenter Server version 5.5 update 3

Users and administrators are encouraged to review the VMware Security Advisory and apply the necessary updates.
